Experience
Tamsin is a professional Leadership Coach-Mentor with vision, vibrant energy, a sense of humour and a reputation for high standards. She has a non-directive approach to coaching and an inherent passion for motivating, developing and envisioning people and organisations.
Prior to founding Skynote Consulting, Tamsin was a Partner and Board Director of Lansons Communications where she had a high profile and award-winning career in financial marketing and communications. She had experience of working with many blue chip companies at senior level including Coutts, Direct Line, Foreign and Colonial, NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland and State Street Global Advisors.
She has a renowned history for her creativity and for designing and directing hard hitting campaigns, aimed at influencing consumer behaviour. She has won many awards for her work.
With non-executive and executive Board experience, Tamsin is a strategic thinker with positive energy, a pragmatic approach and a focus on ethics. As a Coach-Mentor she has a reputation for high standards and success in supporting individuals as they develop their leadership style and navigate their upward career progression. Her working practice challenges and enlightens and, in doing so, builds a robust platform for individuals to feel empowered and fulfilled.

She has a lifelong interest in schools and the development of the next generation. She was the architect of the Personal Finance Education Group (PFEG), bringing together members of the teaching community and industry representatives to co-ordinate efforts (know-how and funding) in teaching young people about money management. Subsequent lobbying secured a place for personal finance education in the national curriculum in schools in England. As a Headmaster’s daughter, Tamsin grew up absorbed in the world of schools, living ‘on site’ and aware of its many pressures and delights.
Tamsin is a working mother with three children and enjoys renovating dilapidated houses, playing the piano, walking her dogs, exercising her horses and competitive sport.
